Yaar jo bhi mila dil jala ker gaya,
Khaak main meri hasti mila ker gaya.
Pyaas jiski sada main boojata raha,
Zaher-e-katil mujhe wo pila kar gaya.
Naaz uski wafa per mujhy tha magar,
Teer woh b jigar per chala ker gaya.
Doondta tha kabhi jo mujhe her gali,
Aankh wo aaj mujhse bacha ker gaya.
Mangta tha sahara jo herdam mujhy,
Besahara mujhe wo bana ker gaya.
Neend aagosh main jiski aane lagi,
Maut ki neend mujh ko sula kar gaya.
Aarzoo thi ae Yaaro jiski mujhe,
Kwaab mere wahi to mita ker gaya
