Scope Of Work

*ODI is an ELT tool that extract large amounts of data, loads them into tables, and THEN transforms them using PL/SQL.  This is a new tool for the client and the expertise isn't there yet. 

 

The project that is calling for this technology involves pricing.  Currently, all of the client's stores dictate their own pricing for items, to an extent.  This makes prices changes harder to track and much much harder to pull great Business Intelligence info from.  There is so much data in a variety of places right now, and the implementation and rollout of ODI will help to alleviate this issue. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Expertise with Oracle Data Integrator is a must
  • Experience in a large enterprise environment is preferred
  • This candidate must have done a similar rollout/implementation with ODI before as client has no expertise currently
  • This candidate will be responsible to design, build, and execute the ODI environment needed for a new Central Pricing initiative 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization - i.e. management, store-level, etc.
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Experience working with tight deadlines as this project is already underway
