Job Description :

As a Teradata ETL Lead will have the following duties and responsibilities:

Gather new requirements for different modules, drawing out a plan for releases of the

enhancements for the application requested by the users and planning work for subsequent
releases.

Defining Developer and Test Methodology to carry out the development schedule

Bug fixing of any error occurs during the ETL Process and production release.

Performance testing and optimization of ETL (Extract, Transformation and Load) & Data sanity.

Preparing and analyzing the weekly performance report of the product for different global markets
and sharing the same with the business management team.

Regular interaction with the offshore team manager/leader as well as Microsoft Technical

Managers, System Administration experts and Quality Assurance using the proprietary tools of
HCL.

Interacting with onsite and offshore team in resolving their problems

Using the move-up process to ensure work is reflected in production systems

Resolving deployment issues and coordination with Operations for deploying services in

production.

Preparing and sending out the weekly status report to the client and HCL managers.

It had been raining in Durban for more than five hours prior to the start of play, and the chances of a game going ahead were slim with puddles around the outfield and the showers not relenting. Even around half-an-hour after the scheduled time for the toss, the umpires said it would take at least two hours to get the ground in playable condition once the rain stopped. That didn't happen and the umpires called off the game at 6.30pm, two hours and eight minutes before the cut-off time for a five-over fixture.

The second T20 international will take place in Centurion on March 3.
