Duties and Responsibilities (including all essential job functions)

Our senior SAP professionals are part of a diverse team which is responsible for delivering large-scale, complex programs that combine business processes with technology to help our government clients achieve the highest levels of performance.

Senior SAP consultants play a leadership role on the project and are involved in all phases of a life cycle implementation, including blueprinting, gap analysis, mapping, prototypes, design, configuration, testing, go-live, user training and post production support. The consultant must be able to work with end users on the SAP application's integration and functionality; determine those technology inadequacies and /or deficiencies that can affect the functional area's ability to support or meet the organizational goals as well as lead enterprise applications integration efforts and oversee the validation of the associated work products. Senior consultants on the project will lead both small and medium size teams and must proactively educate both team members and the client with specific best practices. The sphere of influence for a Senior Consultant generally includes team leaders and project managers, vendor or contractor SME's, and limited exposure to project stakeholders. The consultant must be able to brief senior managers

Critical Knowledge

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years working in a SAP environment as a consultant or have played a key role or SME on a project implementation team. In addition, the candidate should have actively worked on a minimum of 2 full life cycle implementations with detailed functional knowledge in at least two functional SAP modules and an understanding the business and technical integration issues associated with those modules. In addition, the candidate will have background with interfaces and data conversion, capabilities and limitations of SAP as well as the setup and configuration issues associated with their product modules specialty area. The individual should be capable of leading medium sized teams of 7-12 resources and able to deliver solutions with minimal guidance from project managers.

Critical Skills

The consultant should have demonstrable skills of interfacing with customers to determine business requirements.

Must have:

Must be able to demonstrate understanding of business process integration with the following modules:

• SD. Sales and distribution

• MM-PUR. Purchasing

Position Description:

Sr. Business Analyst. Resource will be an individual contributor working with a larger functional and technical team to migrate functionality for store design and construction business team from a legacy platform to a new enterprise standard platform. Resource will focus on the reporting area specifically but will be required to work with other team members to understand the overall business process, requirements, and design. The resource will be required to work with team members from multiple vendors and LBI.

Application / Skill Expertise Required:

• Knowledge of the following is preferred but not required:
• SAP BW.
• SAP Bex Reporting.
• Crystal Reporting.

Responsibilities:

IN the context of reporting –

Ø Facilitate sessions with business user to define requirements, document those requirements.

Ø Facilitate sessions with business users to define future state processes and document those processes.

Ø Participate in the recommendations of technology use, gap analysis between tools capabilities and desired requirements, and resolution of the gaps through process or technology.

Ø Document all processes including interactions with the tools or with other users.
Risk identification

Ø Participate in project or solution testing including any of the following; identifying test scenarios, writing test scripts, and executing some test scripts to ensure requirements have been met.

Ø Provide input to organizational change management in the form of assessments of readiness for business to change, impacts to business users, key messages to facilitate understanding for the business users of the changes.

Ø Provide status reporting as required to the project manager and direct supervisor.

Skill Level:

Ø Expert in business analysis 6+ yrs working medium to large projects, worked on multiple projects specifically as a business analyst, may have lead teams of analysts Participation in multiple projects in any capacity through full software development lifecycle.

Ø Ability to apply technical knowledge to business situations

Ø Strong communication skills.

Ø Ability to facilitate groups up to 25 business persons,

Ø Ability to facilitate meeting where participants have disparate goals or functions within the business,
