Sr. Java Developer

Duration: 6 Months+

Location: New York City

Interview process - Phone followed by F2F

 

One of our Direct client is looking for a Sr. Java Developer

Here is the job description:

·         The ideal candidate is a strong, senior technologist, preferably with experience building large scale enterprise-quality applications in Java, interested in learning about finance, with experience managing and delivering projects, willing to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment.

Skills Required:

·         Development experience on challenging, technical projects in Java

·         Ability to pick up new skills quickly

·         Perl or Ksh experience

·         Hands-on experience with a relational database (building queries and stored procedures) Sybase preferred

·         Understanding of fundamentals of threading, object-oriented design, design patterns, Spring

·         Good verbal communication skills (Ability to explain difficult concepts for example)
