پھر اس کے بعد وفا کا گمان چھوڑ دیا

کٹھن تھا یا تھا سہل امتحان چھوڑ دیا

جہاں مقیم میرے ساتھ اس کی یادیں تھیں
بہت ہی روتے ہوئے وہ مکان چھوڑ دیا

تمام رات یہی سوچتا رہا تنہا
ناجانے کیوں چاند نے آسمان چھوڑ دیا

بس اس سے ہاتھ ملانے کی ایک خطا کی تھی
ہمارے ہاتھ پہ اس نے نشان چھوڑ دیا
