I need some basic information regarding the Software Engineering.

1. How a Software is developed?
2. How much difficult is to develop a software?
3. A Non-MCS can develop it?
4. How much time it takes?
5. On which level a Software can be easily made by a novice?
6. Can it be developed while depending on significant notes/books only?
7. Which one is the best way to develop a software easily.  

The notes/guiding material will be highly appreciated in this regard.
